The primary produced water treatment packages that Alderley design and build involve many different elements – from upstream sand removal using solid/liquid hydrocyclones at wellhead conditions to multi-phase separators and collection vessels to further solid/liquid and liquid/liquid hydrocyclones.

Alderley produce two and three phase separators – gas/liquid and gas/oil/liquid respectively – to international standards. Gas leaves from the top of the vessel as oil and water leaves through different locations at the bottom of the vessel.

The management of produced sand forms part of the total solution that Alderley offers. Sand management forms part of the effective management of separation vessels, ensuring that they are kept at their optimum efficiency for their separation duty.

Alderley can provide its’ proven jetting design for the effortless management of solids that have accumulated within the separation vessel. This equipment can either be provided as part of an initial design and supply, or as a brownfield solution to an existing production and separation train.

Efficient cleaning of any remaining oil from separated sand is essential for both your organisation’s bottom line and environmental credentials. Desanding Hydrocyclones

Alderley’s desanding hydrocyclone systems range from a 1″ diameter hydrocyclone for high efficiency in solids clarification, to a 3″ diameter hydrocyclone for larger solids, high throughput and minimal pressure drop.

Alderley’s desanding hydrocyclones are able to operate in high pressure, highly erosive wellhead conditions. Our hydrocyclones can also be incorporated into specialist applications, for example, under-balanced drilling.

Our desanding hydrocyclones can be supplied as loose items or as part of a complete produced water treatment package, giving your project the best efficiency in the most compact vessel.

Deoiling Hydrocyclones

Alderley’s AP20 liquid/liquid or deoiling hydrocyclone has a proven market leading operational performance.The compact nature of Alderley’s deoiling hydrocyclone offers multiple benefits and gives high efficiency, high online turndown and high erosion resistance solution that is also extremely cost effective.

The AP20 can be used in new projects or for retrofitting existing systems, where the fitting of the liner to existing horizontal or vertical vessels without the need or removal of the vessel or any hot work means this system is by far the most economical.
