Alderley recognised with UK Board of Trade Award

Alderley have been awarded a UK Board of Trade Award (BOFTA) by the Department of International Trade in recognition of their contributions to trade and investment throughout 2018.

Presented at a reception in London by Dr Liam Fox MP, the Secretary of State for International Trade, Alderley were one of nine companies recognised with a BOFTA in the London and Southern England region.

“Each year, my international economic department helps thousands of companies of every size to break into global markets, ensuring consumers around the world can access the best of British products and services” said Dr Fox.

“The BOFTAs given to these companies highlight their exceptional trading performance and will inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.” (Department for International Trade press release).

From their home in Wickwar, Gloucestershire, family owned Alderley have grown to become the leading system integrator for modular packages in the global oil and gas industry.

The BOFTA judging panel were particularly impressed by Alderley’s innovative use of finance in international trade, as well as the notable reputation the company has built in Saudi Arabia.
